Dr. Zeeshan Atiq is an Associate Professor at the Department of Economics, University of Karachi (UoK) and a visiting faculty member at IBA Karachi. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from The University of Manchester, UK (2014), where his doctoral research focused on financial liberalization, crises, and economic growth. Since joining the University of Karachi in 2004, Dr. Atiq has built a distinguished academic career specializing in macroeconomics, applied macroeconomic modeling, and financial economics. He is actively involved in teaching graduate-level courses and publishing research in leading academic journals on economic development and financial market integration.
